Co-Director of Sustainable Resource Center, 2014-2015
My name is Noelle Watanabe. I received my B.S. in Biology with a minor in Spanish from UCLA, and I am thrilled to be back at UCLA again completing the second year of my Masters in Environmental Health Sciences in the Fielding School of Public Health. I am also pursuing the Leaders in Sustainability Certificate and am happy to be organizing and working on projects to improve sustainable practices across campus like the Recycle Roundup and Community Supported Agriculture Box program.
Co-Director of Melnitz Movies, 2014-2015
Malin Kan is a second year in the Moving Image Archives Studies M.A. program. Her primary interest is in film programming, particularly in how methods might be developed to facilitate the building of relationships between film programmers, curators and moving image archivists to expand the accepted canon and to provide the justification for the preservation of a wider range of materials through their exhibition and celebration.
February Campus Affairs Committee Meeting
The next meeting of the Campus Affairs Committee will be held at 6pm on Thursday, February 21, 2013. The meeting will be held in the California Conference Room, in Suite 2 of the Hearst Gym. The commitee meeting is open to all students. A preliminary agenda is below.

The Executive Board of the GA is seeking three graduate students to support advocacy efforts on campus: The first will support advocacy on issues relating to equity, inclusion, and diversity. The second will support grassroots efforts on campus that promote an affordable education for all students and a living wage for student-workers.
