My name is Noelle Watanabe. I received my B.S. in Biology with a minor in Spanish from UCLA, and I am thrilled to be back at UCLA again completing the second year of my Masters in Environmental Health Sciences in the Fielding School of Public Health. I am also pursuing the Leaders in Sustainability Certificate and am happy to be organizing and working on projects to improve sustainable practices across campus like the Recycle Roundup and Community Supported Agriculture Box program.

Her primary interest is in film programming, particularly in how methods might be developed to facilitate the building of relationships between film programmers, curators and moving image archivists to expand the accepted canon and to provide the justification for the preservation of a wider range of materials through their exhibition and celebration.

The second will support grassroots efforts on campus that promote an affordable education for all students and a living wage for student-workers.
